2023 EPLA Conference – Details
The EPLA conference is an annual event, and this year will be held at the Sydney Zoo, Great Western Highway, Bungarribee from 10am to 4:30pm on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th November 2023. The President’s drinks follow Day 1 of the conference, with the conference dinner to be held at Beta, Castlereagh St, Sydney with the Justice Debra Mortimer, Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Australia as the after dinner speaker, on Friday 10th November 2023.
The conference will comprise of keynote presentations focusing on professional development and updates on recent developments in the various jurisdictions of the Land and Environment Court of NSW. The 2022 conference held at Dubbo Zoo attracted 100 people in person and 400 people online. After three years of Covid restrictions and interruptions we anticipate the return of in excess of 200 people in person for a Sydney based conference, with 400 plus attending online.

EPLA (NSW) Inc is seeking sponsorship for the 2023 EPLA Conference to take place on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th November 2023 at Sydney Zoo, Bungarribee.
Accepting sponsorship will ensure you become part of the EPLA conference with a captive audience that brings together lawyers, planners, experts, local councils, state government representatives, judicial officers and decision makers, and litigation specialists who appear in planning, environment, local government, valuation and acquisition, and environmental prosecutions
