18 October 2018: Centre for Environment Law’s Annual Lecture for 2018

You are warmly invited to attend the Centre for Environment Law’s Annual Lecture for 2018. This event will be held on 30 October 2018 from 6pm.

This year the lecture will be delivered by Senator Mehreen Faruqi, who will be presenting on the annual lecture theme of environmental justice. Senator Faruqi is the first female, Muslim Senator in Australian history and has formerly worked on environmental projects as a consulting engineer. She currently oversees the Green’s education portfolio and works closely on other passions including issues of animal welfare and environmental sustainability.

The Centre’s Annual Lecture is a calendar highlight and we invite you to join us for an interesting night of grappling with current environmental issues and engaging in thought-provoking discussion.

Preceding the event there will be an opportunity to network with other attendees including Alumni, academics, students and friends of Macquarie, and to discuss ideas to be expressed on the night. Drinks and canapés will be provided from 6pm.

We hope you can join us.
