Members & Friends of EPLA are invited to a Twilight Seminar: ‘Council amalgamations: Implications for those who ‘do business’ with local government’.

Council amalgamations (or mergers) have been a hot topic in recent times, with the government seeking to implement the policy objectives of its ‘Fit for the Future’ package.  For those who are in local government, or who ‘do business’ with local government, this seminar is ‘a must’, as we explore what’s happened so far, what’s  happening and what’s likely to happen with the government’s local government reform package.

Presented by:  Ray Brownlee, GM, Randwick City Council.

Chair: Scott Nash

Ray was appointed GM at Randwick in 2004, having served as the GM of Auburn Council immediately prior.  He also previously worked for North Sydney Council, Penrith City Council and Leichhardt Council.

Earlier this year, he was awarded the prestigious Australia Day Honour ‘Public Service Medal’ (PSM) for outstanding public service in NSW.”

Cost: EPLA Members:  $33; Non-members:  $44; Students $11
